Betting System
A betting system is a method of placing bets, usually by
following some rules on how to increase bets for each loss,
that tries to beat the casino's odds. If betting systems really
worked, one would assume that casinos would have gone bust some
time ago.

winnings! At an online casino, this is the area of the
casino where you can deposit or withdraw money.
Casino Bonuses
Online casinos give you bonuses for
joining and others give you free chips
each month. Usually, these will be match offers, e.g. you pay in £100
and they match it with another £100. Most casinos require you to wager a certain amount before you can actually withdraw the bonus amount. You can start gambling with it immediately and withdraw any winnings you make, but you can't just sign up, claim your money and walk away. They've already thought of that unfortunately!

The croupier is the guy or girl who operates the casino
tables. They deal the card, spin the balls, roll the dice,

wear watches so that if punters ask them the time, they can't
tell them. The casinos want you to lose track of time.
Free Chips
Lots of online casinos give you free chips to join, and some
give you free chips each month. Often online casinos will match what you

House Advantage
The house advantage is the %age of bets that
the casino will win on, on average. It is stated
as a percentage, so can be thought of as the number
of pounds in each £100 gambled that the casino will
win on. The house advantage on most games is between
1 and 10%, depending on game and individual player.
See also percentage payout.
Martingale System
The Martingale System is the
most commonly used betting system. It involves a progression of bets,
doubling on losses, with the aim of always covering a loss. This system is
often used at the roulette tables.
Percentage Payout
This is effectively
the inverse of the house advantage, and refers to the
amount paid out as a percentage of money gambled. When
choosing a casino,
always look for one with a high payout. Anything above 96%
is a good deal because it means if you wager £100, on average
the casino payout is £96.
